Justin Timberlake on Critics and Media in GQ ?Men of the Year? Interview

Justin Timberlake speaks out about critics, the media and more in an interview for GQ magazine’s ‘Men of the Year’ issue. In a cover story that declares him ‘#Hashtag of the Year his quotable quotes have made him a trending topic all over again. The 32-year-old icon has plenty to say. The magazine named him one of its “Men of the Year” along with Will Ferrell, Matthew McConaughey, Kendrick Lamar, and the late James Gandolfini. The magazine christened him the trending topic of the year. For once, not hype as JT has been nearly inescapable with two albums debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, two tours, and movies, a performance at the White House, hosting Saturday Night Live, etc., etc. And not to mention more than holding his own on social media with the likes of that viral video “”#Hashtag” with Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake” with more than 18 million views on YouTube. Staggering success or not, Justin Timberlake, like all artists at some point faces the chorus of critics. He name checks two of them, ‘Variety’ for their op-ed in the aftermath of the box office failure of his movie, ‘Runner Runner with costar Ben Affleck. [...]
