Sunday Night TV Wrap Up

I'm so ready for the fall TV season to start! In the meantime, there are still some interesting shows to catch during August. Take this Sunday, which is a big TV night for both E! and Lifetime.

On E!, there's the premiere of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Season 5 (10 p.m. ET). "You'll see me for the first time ever living the single life and living it up and being by myself and being on dates," Kim Kardashian told eonline. Apparently, her relationship with Dallas Cowboys stud Miles Austin is in a…casual phase. Still, the new season promo seems to promise lots of sex: "Everything up until now has just been foreplay."
Immediately following that premiere comes the launch of The Spin Crowd (10:30 p.m. ET), a new show—exec produced by Kardashian—about the inner workings of a celebrity publicity firm, Command PR. “Every episode, it’s a different client calling them to get an event going. There’s so much drama behind press events,” Kardashian told people.com. “There will be a different celebrity featured in every episode, so it’ll be really fun.” But you don't have to take her word for it: Here's the promo.
On Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva (9 p.m. ET), former Bachelor Jake Pavelka guest stars as…wait for it…a reality dating show contestant. Can he act (like himself)? You be the judge. Here's the promo.
Next up on Lifetime is the Season 4 finale of Army Wives (10 p.m. ET), wherein Denise (Catherine Bell) goes into labor, someone's changing careers, someone's getting a marriage proposal, and someone seemingly dies (well, at least based on this vague but emotional promo).
